Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son daughter of Richard McCormick. Her father worked as an educator at school and her mother as mother at home. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. McCormick began dancing and singing in her early years and often performed plays with puppets for children in her area. In the year she turned six, McCormick was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her and asked whether the actress was interested in a career in show business. McCormick got her first job as a leading actress in 1964. She was featured in an ad campaign for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year she was a guest on an additional company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was soon chosen to play her role in the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 1500 auditioned children, was cast as the older of three two-headed daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969) which starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show lasted for five seasons. In her book Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice which was published in 2008 McCormick admitted that in the fifth season, she nearly lost her virginity to her screen co-star and brother Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick revealed in her book, Here's the story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Identifying My True Voice that in season five on the show, she was close to losing her virginity to Barry Williams. The incident would have happened as she describes. The timing of our romance wasn't right.
