Mrs. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural, bilingual social worker. She has over 13 years' experience working in nonprofits. She's worked with many different populations, including LGBTQ+ people, substance addicts and victims of violence from intimate partners. Since 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. Telehealth services are currently available in Behavioral Health. Ms. Rivas has worked with postpartum and prenatal mothers for more than a decade. She is an expert in treating trauma-informed patients and is able to offer EMDR services for adult patients. She also provides individual and group therapy and Medication-Assisted Treatment programs, referrals to specialty care Women's Support group. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, helping animals in need find forever new homes.
